Designing A Thematic Yoga Practice

Presented by Kimmel Alcide

  • Humber College - Room A227

Service Description

Designing A Thematic Yoga Practice So you’ve prepared your yoga sequence, now what? Consider theming to invoke a memorable experience for your clients. Theming during a yoga practice is like weaving a golden thread, connecting movement, breath and all that arises in between. When done artfully, it can create the ultimate space for transformation. This workshop is for instructors who have been choreographing flows for decades but desire inspiration, and also for anyone who is just beginning their journey. We will commence with a 20 minute themed, Vinyasa Flow practice. Following the practice, we will explore the levels of theming, the pros and cons of each and what to consider when developing a theme. ----- ABOUT Kimmel Alcide E-RYT 500 Kimmel is passionate about guiding individuals, teams and communities to self-discovery through mindfulness practices.
